WE HAVE A WINNER!!

Progress report: (l-r) December 20th, 2005; March 23, 2006; August 28, 2006; October 6, 2006; October 9, 2006
The winner is.....................
John Foster!!
Congratulations to John whose vote was for October 5, only 4 days off.
Some quick facts:
The block is made of predominantly tuffaceous siltstone, relatively hard, a ~3.5 to 4 on a harness scale of 5.
weight is ~500 lbs
scale bar = 10 cm, shoe = woman's size 10
I typically work 5 to 6 hours a day on prep (not including breaks or lunch time)
I will mostly be using a chicago pneumatic air scribe, and a microjack for detail work.
It took 41 weeks of work (with a few breaks in there) to finish this project
Four cervical vertebrae, 1 rib with head, & 3 rib heads were found in the block

This poll is just for fun. I am interested in seeing what people think. I plan to take a sequence of pictures throughout the prep process, along with other random facts, so stay tuned for updates. Have any questions or comment? Feel free to send them my way: paleochick@gmail.com
Thanks for voting!
