To celebrate the 100th anniversery of Charles D. Walcott's discovery of the Burgess Shale, John and I attend the International Conference on the Cambrian Explosion in Banff, Alberta. While at the meeting we visited the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies is hosting and exhibit in conjunction with the meething entitled "A Fossil Paradise: The Discovery of the Burgess Shale by Charles D. Walcott." We also hiked up to the Mt. Stephen Trilobite Quarry and to the Walcott Quarry, Burgess Shale in Yoho National Park.
