Charles Knight Paintings

Knight’s Field Museum Murals
"In 1926, Knight began work on a series of 28 murals for The Field Museum’s new fossil hall, depicting the history of life on Earth from its earliest origins. Twenty-three are currently on display.
Though Knight’s work can be seen in museums around the world—including the American Museum of Natural History in New York and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County—The Field Museum houses the largest displayed collection of Charles R. Knight murals in the world."
